Swipe a finger and again, stated it's registered however when we log out and back in we're greeted only with a password prompt. This account we then went and "Changed PIN" on the device which again appeared to go through fine. Knowing this was incorrect we removed the finger and PIN from the old account, disabled it and logged back into his Azure-AD account. We then rebooted the device, the user then swiped their finger and it logged them into their Old - local - account. However, the device went through first-time setup and asked for us to create a PIN and swipe a finger - this appeared to work without issue.

We then chose to join the device to Azure AD so the use could login with their Microsoft 365 credentials. The end device (the problematic device) was using Local Accounts for a long while. The Tenant does not have In-Tune or any MDM deployed nor do they have the required licenses to do so, it's just Basic OOBE Azure AD. Users are licensed with different licenses throughout, however this specific user is licensed with Microsoft 365 Business Standard. We've got a Microsoft 365 Tenant with multiple domains. Without the ability to Sign-In with PIN I'm unable to use any other biometrics such as Fingerprint, Face ID, etc. I'm having a problem with just one computer which has been Azure-AD Joined and it's ability to Sign-In with a PIN.
